Who we are
FootyRush is operated by Future Developments s.r.o., Czech Republic ("we"). Contact: mark.muron@gmail.com. This policy explains what we process when you play, and why.
What we collect
Account: an anonymous account id created when you first play and the name you choose. Gameplay: your drafts, matches, results, ladder record and trash-talk lines you send. Analytics: a small set of named gameplay events (such as starting a game mode or finishing a match), technical error reports when something breaks, device and browser type, and approximate region derived from your IP address — we do not track individual clicks and we do not record your sessions. Preferences such as your trash-talk lines are stored locally on your device.
Cookies and local storage
Strictly necessary local storage keeps you signed in and saves your preferences — this works without consent. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you accept the consent bar: a PostHog analytics cookie that recognises you between visits, Google Analytics/Ads measurement cookies, and the Meta Pixel. Until you accept (and if you decline), analytics run cookieless and anonymously per visit, Google tags operate in consent mode with all storage denied, and the Meta Pixel is not loaded at all.
Why we process it
To run the game and head-to-head matches (performance of our service to you), to understand and improve gameplay (your consent for the cookie-based analytics; our legitimate interest in minimal, cookieless aggregate statistics), and to keep the game fair and secure (legitimate interest).
Who processes it for us
Supabase (database and realtime infrastructure), PostHog (analytics, hosted in the EU), Vercel (web hosting), and Stripe (payments — we never see your card details). With your consent, Google (Analytics and Ads measurement) and Meta (advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel) also receive usage signals such as page views, sign-ups and purchases to measure our advertising. We do not sell your data.
Retention
Match and ladder data is kept while the game operates. Analytics data is retained by PostHog per our project settings and deleted on request. You can reset your ladder record in-game at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can withdraw analytics consent at any time (clear this site's storage, or contact us). You can also complain to your data-protection authority — in the Czech Republic, the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů.
